Urine Toxicology
Auspicious Laboratory, performs urine testing to detect and quantify targeted drugs. Our technology includes INITIAL (Presumptive) SCREENING by enzyme-immunoassay and CONFIRMATION (Definitive) by Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS/MS). All analytes tested will be reported as NEGATIVE (below the stated cutoff value) or POSITIVE (above the cutoff value).

Covid19 tests
To respond to the Covid19 testing needs in our community, Auspicious Laboratory is proud to announce adding Covid19 RT-PCR and rapid 15min IgG/IgM antibody testing in the test menu. Covid19 PCR test can be ordered alone or can be ordered with Respiratory Pathogen Panel to test total 22 pathogens that related to respiratory diseases.
Sample Type and Volume Requirements
All inclusive 22 tests panel:
Sample type: Nasopharyngeal Swab in viral transport media
Sample volume: 300 μl
Covid19 RT-PCR single test:
Sample type: Nasopharyngeal swab, Oropharyngeal Swab or Nasal Swab in dry tube without transport media
IgG/IgM Antibody:
Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma

From the time the sample arrives in the lab, it is our goal to have results back to you within 24 hours.

Sample Collection and shipping instructions
Specimen Preparation: Sterile swab placed in a viral transport media in a sterile, screw top tube. Do not use calcium alginate swab or wood shafted swab.
Specimen Source: Nasal. See next page Nasopharyngeal Swab Collection.
Transport Temperature: Refrigerated (Ship sample with frozen ice packs using overnight shipping label)
Stability: Refrigerated: 3 days
Rejection: Improper collection, unlabeled specimen, name discrepancies, specimen leaked in transit, Dry swabs, Bacterial swab/Long swab w/Gel inside.
Specimen shipment instructions:
Local (Houston) clinics: call Auspicious Laboratory at 713-266-0808 and we will arrange a runner to pick up the sample.
Out of town clinics: Place specimen and 2 frozen ice packs in an insulated mailer and send by UPS/FedEx using the overnight shipping label provided by Auspicious Laboratory
