What Do You Need for a Travel COVID Test?

Check the requirement first. The right test is the one your destination actually accepts.CLIA #45D2048957 · CAP #8722734 · Same-day results · Walk-ins welcome
It depends entirely on your destination and airline, and requirements change. Check the official requirement before you book a test — then match three things to it: the test type (PCR is generally accepted where antigen is not), the timing window (often a fixed number of hours before departure), and the report format (name, date of birth, collection time, method, laboratory identifiers, in English).

Matching the test to the rule
| Requirement | What we do |
|---|---|
| Molecular / RT-PCR | In-house molecular PCR, same day |
| Tight pre-departure window | Standard: sample by 1:00 PM, result 4:30 PM. STAT: ~2 hours, sample by 3:00 PM |
| English-language report | Report includes name, DOB, collection date/time, method, and laboratory identifiers (CLIA #45D2048957) |
| Weekend departure | We are closed weekends — plan your collection Monday to Friday |
We cannot guarantee that a given country will accept a given document — no laboratory honestly can. What we can do is provide a compliant molecular result, in English, in time.
Why same-day matters in respiratory illness. Influenza antivirals work best within 48 hours of onset. Swab by 1:00 PM → result at 4:30 PM → licensed physician (partner network) 4:30–6:00 PM. Two stops, both the same day.

- Yes, with the identifiers listed above.
